A funeral mass for Mary Bassani, 86, of Palm Coast, Florida will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 11, 12:30PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL. 32164. Friends may visit on Wednesday in the Memorial Room from 11:30AM until time of the mass, immediately following. Entombment will follow the mass at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

Mary passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015. She was born on May 27, 1928 to the late Attilio and Margerita Sementelli (Celli). She immigrated to the US in 1948. As a young woman she worked as a seamstress. In 2004 she and her husband moved to the Palm Coast area from Delmar, NY. Mary was a deeply religious woman and a member at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking but her greatest love in life was being with her family and friends, especially spoiling her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.  

Mary was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jerry Burrows.

Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Fernando; daughters, Rita Burrows of St. Louis, MO; Lisa and her husband Michael Brown of Palm Coast; grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace, Joseph Michael, and Mary Rose. 

In remembrance of Mary, mass cards may be sent to the family or donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
